This day in 1955, 24-year-old actor James Dean crashed and died in his brand new porsche spider. He was in Cholame, California at the time he was on his way to a race in San Francisco. James was in his porsche when he hit a Ford Tudor sedan at an intersection. the other driver was dazed but not severely injured, as for Dean's passenger and german mechanic was badly injured but survived. sorry they didnt have pictures in the 50's of the car accident
